Where to find your Wallet balance
You can check your Wallet balance directly in the Apron mobile app:
It’s shown on the Home screen and displayed separately for each company you’re part of.
To switch between companies, tap the company name at the top of the screen and choose a different one from the list.
Only company members with the role of Owner or Admin can view the Wallet balance and account details. Employees and Bookkeepers won’t see these fields.
How to top up your Wallet
You can top up your Wallet using Open Banking or a bank transfer – all from the Home screen of the mobile app.
Topping up via Open Banking
Tap the ‘Add money’ button underneath the ‘Balance’ section and enter the amount you want to add.
Tap ‘Continue’ and select your bank from the list – or use the search bar if you can’t see it.
If your bank doesn’t support Open Banking, you’ll see a ‘Pay via bank transfer’ option. Tap it to view the bank account details and send the money directly from your banking app or website.
Authenticate the payment – and that’s it! The money should appear in your Wallet within minutes, but it can sometimes take up to 24 hours.
Topping up via bank transfer
Tap the ‘Balance’ section to view your company’s Apron Wallet bank account details.
Copy and paste the account details into your banking app or website to send the funds.

Share via AirDrop
Add them to Notes or other apps
Things to keep in mind
Wallets can only be topped up in GBP.
Top-ups via Direct Debit or card payments aren’t available at the moment.
Topping up ahead of time
You don’t need to top up every time you want to make a card transaction.
Once your Wallet is topped up:
The funds stay there until used.
Any Expense Card linked to your company can use the available balance.
