Where to find your Wallet balance
You can check your Wallet balance directly in the Apron mobile app.
It’s displayed on the Home screen and is shown separately for each company you’re part of.
To switch between companies, tap the company name at the top of the screen and select a different one from the list.
Only company members with the role of Owner, Admin or Bookkeeper can view the Wallet balance and account details. Employees won’t see these fields.
How to top up your Wallet
To top up your balance:
Tap on the Balance section in the mobile app.
You’ll see your company’s Apron Wallet account details – this is the bank account you’ll send money to.
You can also tap the ‘Share’ button to:
Copy the account details
Send them via SMS
Share via AirDrop
Add them to Notes or other apps
Things to keep in mind
You can only top up the Wallet via a manual bank transfer using the displayed account details.
For now, only local UK account details are shown.
Wallets can only be topped up in GBP.
We don’t currently support top-ups via Open Banking, direct debit or card payments.
Topping up ahead of time
You don’t need to top up every time you want to make a card transaction.
Once your Wallet is topped up:
The funds stay there until used.
Any Expense Card linked to your company can use the available balance.
