Want to pay suppliers with your card, but they don't accept cards? We solve this by charging your card and sending suppliers a bank transfer.

How it works

  1. Choose card payment when paying suppliers

  2. We charge your card for the payment

  3. We send a bank transfer to your supplier

  4. Your supplier gets paid, and you earn rewards

Timing

Card payments are processed the next working day, around 2 PM. Money leaves your account immediately when you authorise the payment, but your suppliers receive it the following working day.

Supplier experience

Your suppliers receive regular bank transfers from us with your company's legal name shown as the sender. They won't know you paid by card - it appears as a standard bank transfer. You can customise the payment reference that appears on their bank statement.

Accepted cards

We accept pretty much all major card types:

  • American Express (Amex)

  • Visa and Mastercard

  • Diners Club, Discover, JCB

  • Bancontact, Cartes Bancaires

  • Benefit Payment Gateway, Knet, Mada

  • QPAY, UnionPay International

Important: Please note that Apron only supports cards issued in the UK, the US and Singapore. The card may be denominated in any currency.

Pricing

Card payments are charged a fee of 2.9% of the payment amount; all fees are shown clearly before you confirm.
