Exporting your documents from Apron is quick and easy. Whether you’re using an accounting app like Xero or QuickBooks or you’re working without one, the process is simple. Here’s how to export your documents.

Accounts connected to Accounting Software

If you’ve connected your Xero or QuickBooks account to Apron, you can export your documents directly from the Inbox section.

Steps to Export Documents:

  1. Go to the Bookkeeping tab and access the Purchases or Sales section.

  2. Open the Inbox section.

  3. Select the checkbox on the left-hand side next to the document(s) you want to export.

  4. Click the three dots.

  5. Choose ‘Export’.

  6. Your documents will be downloaded as a table in a CSV file.

Note:

  • You can’t export documents from the Published section or the Pay tab.

  • To export documents from the Archive section, you must first unarchive them.

Accounts not connected to Accounting Software

If you don’t use Xero or QuickBooks, you can still export documents from the Inbox or Ready to export sections.

Steps to Export Documents:

  2. Open the Inbox or Ready to export section.

  3. Select the checkbox next to the document(s) you want to export.

  4. Choose ‘Export’.
