How do I add practice team members in Apron?

Find out how to add new team members to your practice

With Admin access you can add as many practice members as you like, as well as decide on the level of permission you would like to assign to their profiles.

  1. Once you are in your Practice hub go to the 'Team' tab.

  2. To add a new member click the '+ Add member' button located in the top-right corner.

  3. Add a team member's email address, their name, and optionally, their phone number*. Click on 'Continue'.

    • *If you didn't add the phone number for the team member, you can always do it later in the 'Team' tab.

  4. Select the level of permission to your clients' accounts you would like this person to receive. The new member can have an Admin or a Standard role. If you want the person to have access to clients' payroll payments, select 'Payroll' in the 'Access to' line.

    • By default, any new user added to the Practice Team is assigned the role of Practice hub member, but this role can be updated in the 'Team' section. Learn more about the client and Practice hub roles in our article: Practice hub overview.

  5. Once done, click on 'Continue' and select all the clients you'd like to assign to this member.

  6. When happy with the selection, click on 'Assign'.

Once you add your practice members to Apron, they will then receive an email informing them that they have been added to the practice.
