How do I enable 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) on my Apron account?

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds another layer of security to your account. To set it up:

  1. Click on your profile in the bottom-left corner (a circle with your initials inside)

  2. Select 'Personal settings'

  3. Go to 'Login and security'

  4. Click on the yellow 'Setup' button under ‘Two-Factor Authentication’

  5. If you haven't set a password yet, you’ll be prompted to create one before continuing

    Note: If you already have a password set up, you’ll be directed to step 8 of this guide.

  6. Enter your password and then confirm it. Remember, the password must be at least 10 characters long, and we suggest using a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.

  7. After entering your password, click 'Save'

  8. Scan the QR code or generate a code using the authentication app on your device

  9. Once the 6-digit code appears in the authenticator app, enter it in the 'Step 2' field inside Apron, and click 'Continue'

Congratulations, you’ve just set up 2FA.

Once you’ve set up 2FA, Apron will require additional authentication for all login methods you choose to use. This will be in the form of a code generated using your authenticator app.
