Never worry about running low on funds again. Wallet Auto top-up automatically adds money to your Apron Wallet whenever your balance drops below a set threshold, keeping your Apron Card payments flowing smoothly.
What auto top-up does
Auto top-up monitors your wallet balance and automatically transfers money from your linked bank account when funds get low. You set the minimum balance that triggers a top-up and how much gets added each time.
This means no more declined transactions, no manual monitoring needed, and the peace of mind of knowing your wallet stays funded.
Setting up auto top-up
To get started:
Go to Add money from your Wallet or Balance screen from the Home screen in the mobile app.
Select Enable auto top-up.
Choose your minimum balance threshold (this is when the top-up kicks in).
Set your top-up amount (how much gets added each time).
Tap Continue and select your bank from the list. Use the search bar if you can't see your bank.
Confirm the setup in your bank's app or website.
Once confirmed, auto top-up is active, and Apron will monitor your balance automatically.
How it works day-to-day
When your wallet balance falls below your chosen threshold, we'll automatically request the set amount from your linked bank account. The money typically arrives within minutes, so you can keep making payments without interruption.
Making changes
You can update your auto top-up settings anytime from the Auto top-up section in your mobile app. Change the minimum balance threshold, adjust the top-up amount, switch to a different bank account, or turn off auto top-up completely whenever you like.

Things to remember
Auto top-ups can only trigger once per day, so plan your threshold and amount accordingly. You can always manually top up if you need more funds before the next automatic top-up window.
Your linked bank account needs sufficient funds for the top-up to work. If a top-up fails due to insufficient funds, you'll get a notification and can try again manually.
