When you might need to change your passcode
You've forgotten your current passcode.
You want to update it for security reasons.
Someone else might know your current code.

How to change your passcode
Since passcode changes require identity verification for security, you'll need to contact our support team.
To reset or change your passcode
From the Mobile App:
Tap Forgot passcode? on the login screen.
This will direct you to contact support.

Use the chat widget in the app or website.
Verification process
Submit your information – Send a selfie and your details to support.
Identity verification – Our team confirms your identity.
Passcode reset – We reset your passcode on our end.
Set a new passcode – You'll create a new 6-digit code.
Privacy protection – Your selfie is permanently deleted after verification.
Setting your new passcode
Once verification is complete:
Open the Apron mobile app.
You'll be prompted to create a new 6-digit passcode.
Enter your preferred code twice to confirm.
Your new passcode is now active.
Passcode security tips
Choose a memorable but secure code – Not easily guessed by others.
Avoid obvious patterns – Like 123456 or 000000
Don't use birthdates – Or other easily guessed personal information.
Change periodically – Update every few months for security.
Keep it private – Don't share with others or write it down.
If you're switching phones
Before switching – Note down your login details.
After switching – You'll need to set up the passcode again.
Contact support – If you can't remember your passcode on the new device.
Common passcode issues
App not accepting code – Try restarting the app.
Fingerprint/Face ID not working – Use passcode as backup.
Code not being saved – Ensure the app has proper permissions in your device’s settings.
