Yes, you can easily publish a selected document or all the documents under your Purchases tab as ‘Spend money’ into Xero. Check how to do that below:
Publishing a selected document as ‘Spend money’:
Open the company’s view, navigate to the Bookkeeping tab and open the Purchases section.
In the ‘Inbox’ click on the selected document and scroll down to the Xero preferences section (visible on the right-hand side, next to the document).
Click on ‘Publish as’ and select ‘Spend money’.
Publishing all purchase documents as ‘Spend money’:
Open the company’s view and navigate to the Settings tab.
Access the ‘Advanced bookkeeping’ section and open the ‘Purchases defaults’.
Click on ‘Edit’ under the Default Xero preferences.
Under ‘Publish as’ select ‘Spend money’.
Note: this action doesn’t affect the documents that were uploaded into Apron before you made the change - i.e. the new settings only apply to documents uploaded from now on.
