Pay with USD and EUR bank accounts

Use your USD or EUR bank accounts to make payments in those currencies without conversion fees.

Got USD or EUR bank accounts? Use them to pay in those currencies and avoid conversion fees completely.

Instead of converting from GBP, use your USD account for USD payments or your EUR account for EUR payments with no conversion applied.

Note: This option is available only on the Pro subscription plan.

To set up currency accounts

  1. Go to payment method selection

  2. Click +Add bank account

  3. Enter your account details manually or sync the account from QuickBooks/Xero

  4. Choose the correct currency

Account requirements

  • USD accounts – Must be denominated in USD, can be UK or US accounts, and need USD funds available

  • EUR accounts – Must be denominated in EUR, UK or European accounts work, and need EUR funds available

Payment timing

  • USD payments – Same day if received before 3:30 PM, next day after

  • EUR payments – Same day if received before 2:00 PM, next day after

Adding new payment methods

You can add new bank accounts or cards directly in Apron, when creating a new payment:

  1. Click +Add bank account or +Add credit card

  2. Click Add manually and enter details, or sync from your connected Xero or QuickBooks account

  3. Click Add payment method

You can see all accounts in one place, pick the right one for each payment, easy currency switching, and clear labelling to avoid confusion.
