Practice account – If you’re a member of an accounting practice or a bookkeeper, you can open a Practice account. You’ll be able to use the account for your own practice, while also adding and managing AP for your clients.

Business account – As a company owner or member, you can open a Business account. You can add additional companies, as well, bringing all of your spending and expenses together in one place.

Invoice capture only – Perfect if you just want to digitise your invoice processing:

AI extracts data automatically, including payment details, line items, and amounts.
Available for UK and Irish companies.
Great for businesses that handle payments through another platform.
Full service (Invoice capture and payments) – The complete Apron experience for businesses that want everything:
All invoice capture features.
All payment processing capabilities (e.g. batch payments and credit card).
Seamless workflow from invoice capture to bill payment to reconciliation.
Only available for UK-registered businesses.
How to choose which is right for you
Start with invoice capture if you want to test Apron's AI and see how it handles your invoices. Simply click on the I’ll do this later button when asked for your company’s details.
Note: We recommend completing the full verification process straight away, so that your account is fully set up and all ready to go.Go ahead with the full service Apron experience if you want to streamline your entire accounts payable process from the moment a document is captured, to the moment a payment is recorded.
Upgrading later
Finished putting Apron through its paces and ready to get the full experience? When you're ready to complete the verification process, just go to the Bill pay tab and click Verify your company. We'll ask for the additional information needed to activate payments.
Getting started
No matter which option you choose, you can create your account and start using Apron right away. Invoice capture accounts are activated instantly, while payments accounts require verification, which usually takes 1 business day.
