If you need to cancel your Apron subscription, here's how to do it and what to expect.
How to cancel
Go to Settings, click on Billing, find the Billing Details tab, then click Cancel subscription at the bottom of the page. Review when your last bill will be and confirm your cancellation.
Your subscription ends on the 1st day of the next month, no matter when you cancel.
You keep full access to your paid plan features until the cancellation date, and will be charged normally for the current month, and then billing stops.
What happens after cancellation
Your account will become inactive, meaning you won't be able to use Invoice capture or payments features.
Reactivating your subscription
You can resubscribe anytime by going back to the Billing section and selecting a new plan. There's no penalty for cancelling and reactivating later, and your data stays exactly as you left it.
Before you cancel
Consider downgrading to the free Go plan instead if cost is the issue, as this might give you what you need without you losing your account setup.
If your accountant manages your Apron account, talk to them first about cancellation. While your data stays in Apron, you might want to export important information for your records.
Remember that you can always restart your subscription later if your needs change.
