You can change your plan anytime if your needs change.
How to change your plan
Go to Settings > Billing and select your new subscription plan.
Upgrading your plan
When you upgrade (e.g., from Go to Essential), you get more monthly payment allowances, access to additional features, and lower fees for extra payments. Consider upgrading if you're going over your payment limits regularly, want access to unlimited expense cards (Apron Card), or automatic data extraction.
When you upgrade your plan, the change goes live immediately. You'll be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current month on your new plan.
To upgrade, go to Settings > Billing and select your new subscription plan.

Downgrading your plan
You might want to downgrade if your business needs have changed or you're not using your full allowances. Consider that you'll have lower payment usage limits, higher overage fees, and you may lose some features like unlimited expense cards.
When you downgrade your plan (e.g. from Pro to Essential), the change takes place on the 1st day of the next month.

Cancelling your plan
Your subscription ends on the 1st day of the next month, no matter when you cancel. If you'd like to cancel your subscription entirely, check our article: Cancel your subscription.
